:speech_balloon: What is a Membership Covenant, and why do we need one?

The Membership Covenant is a shared agreement between each member and the Diamante Bridge Collective (DBC).
It describes how we care for each other, how we participate, and how we align our actions with the values and vision of the Collective.

Unlike the Constitution, which is a legal document, the Covenant is a living agreement — written in simple, human language — that guides our everyday participation.
It reminds us what we are saying yes to, and how DBC, as an organization, promises to support its members in return.

This Covenant also helps new and returning members know what is expected to stay in good standing, and how participation through the 8 Stages of Stewardship connects to formal Active Membership (community voice and legal vote).

Our proposal is to approve the use of a Membership Covenant as part of the DBC’s internal regulations (reglamento interno) and onboarding process.

The Membership Covenant is a mutual commitment between each person and the Diamante Bridge Collective.
It expresses our shared values of cooperation, respect for nature and culture, and dedication to building a regenerative community together.

I understand that the rights to vote and hold office in the Association are reserved for Active and Founding Members in good standing, as defined in the Constitution.
Participation through the 8 Stages of Stewardship is the pathway toward those responsibilities.
